I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the University of Rostock (Germany). During my Bachelor's studies, I focused on heterogeneous catalysis under Prof. Matthias Beller at LIKAT. In 2017, during my Master's, I gained further research experience through a research internship in Prof. Nicolai Cramer's group at EPFL, working on asymmetric catalysis. For my Master's thesis, I moved to the University of Adelaide (Australia) to work under Dr. Christopher Newton on the synthesis of spirocyclic compounds. In 2020, I began my PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Kohlenforschung under the supervision of Dr. Josep Cornella, focusing on structural chemistry and catalysis involving bismuth. In February 2025, I joined the Hevia group to explore cooperative bimetallic chemistry. Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time in nature, traveling, and exploring diverse cuisine with friends.
