I obtained my BSc in Chemistry at the University of Alcalá in 2018, and then I started my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Marta Mosquera and Prof. Juan Cámpora. My doctoral research focused on the preparation of main group complexes and their application on ring-opening polymerization. During my third year I joined the group of Prof. Stephen Buchwald at MIT for a three-months stay working on the Cu-catalyzed synthesis of amines. I finished my PhD in February 2024 and I joined the Hevia group in June 2024 as a Ramon Areces fellow to work on main group polar organometallic chemistry. Outside the lab, I enjoy reading, travelling and spending time with my friends and family.
