Jasmin Kocher

Growing up in Wiedlisbach, a small village in the canton of Bern, I decided to study chemistry at the university of Bern where I obtained my BSc (2022) and MSc (2024). During my Master’s project in the Hevia group I investigated how organozinc reagents can be tailored for synthetic and catalytic applications. Intrigued by the research and excited to expand my knowledge on organometallic chemistry, I decided to stay in the Hevia group for my PhD. In my free time I enjoy reading books, playing the guitar, and fencing.
